Finally! YouVersion Live is Getting a Huge Update

Our church has used YouVersion Live for a long time. It’s been a great way to share our sermon notes each week with the congregation using the YouVersion Bible app. Our attenders have access to our sermon notes, Bible verses, and links from the message each week. However, YouVersion Live hasn’t been updated in a really long time. It is a tedious process to setup the schedule each week, since it did not have the ability to have a template or copy a previous service.

Now, all that has changed. Starting March 14th, YouVersion is completing changing how Live works. It will now be called YouVersion Events. You can find out more on their website at www.bible.com/features/events. This is a great update. I’ve already been playing around with the new system and it works great. If your church is currently using YouVersion Live, check out the new features.

YouVersion Events still offers the key functions of Live, but we’ve completely re-engineered Events to be smoother, cleaner, and more robust. And, now that we have this all-new platform to build upon, we plan to continue improving Events over time. In the meantime, here are just a few of the admin-side features Events already has that we know you’re going to love:

  • Set multiple locations and times for your Event.
  • Rapidly create new Events by copying existing ones and then modifying them.
  • Preview your Events in a viewer that lets you see them the way that your audiences will.
  • Select from highly flexible modules such as text, Bible references, images, announcements, links to online giving, and more.

Would it be possible for you to publish a version/edition of the Bible in which books and excerpts are sequenced in the same manner as it is done for the chronological version of reading the bible in one year. I am convinced that such a publication (if not already existing) would greatly ease the reader’s understanding of the bible. For sure there will be people that will say we are tampering with with God’s Word. But with a little explanation ….
