I’m back at work today. Mondays are always rough, but especially when you have been gone a week. We had a great trip to the beach. Good weather, great food, and fun times with the kids. It’s so important for me to get to spend some serious time with Emma, Luke, & Drew. It seems like every year you have to learn to connect with them in new ways. Emma turned 8 while we were at the beach. She’s growing so fast, she’s a beautiful little girl. We couldn’t get Luke to leave the beach, he absolutely loved playing in the waves. He’s also got the biggest heart I’ve ever seen in a kid. And Drew was a wild man, 2 years old and laughing all the time. I think I could learn from him about how to enjoy life.
I also got to spend some great time with Jenni. We’ve been married for 11 years now and we started dating 17 years ago. I can’t believe how God has blessed me with such a great marriage. Jennifer and I got to discuss some pretty important things about how God is working in our lives. I appreciate her honesty, her integrity, and her passion for life. She’s an incredible mother and wife.
