Due to the recent FTC ruling that all bloggers must disclose the payments or free gifts they receive, here is my full disclosure for this site.
For book reviews:
I am part of several blogger networks which provide free books for the purpose of reviewing. As a blogger, I can be completely honest and I do not have to provide a good review in order to receive the free book. By providing free books, the publishing companies and authors get great publicity from many people when the books are released. I commit to being objective and fair in my reviews, and I end up giving away most of the books after I read them. You can find many of these books in our church library as well.
For Affiliate Links and Advertisements:
By linking to products, books, and services, I may receive compensation. When you click on product links or site advertisements and then make a purchase, I receive a small commission. The key word here is small. In the future, I hope to use this income to pay for the hosting and other expenses that arise from blogging.
