This past weekend did indeed turn out to be a blur. There were way too many things going on. But it was good. We are always told to slow down and simplify, and I have even preached several messages on that as well. But sometimes, when God gives you opportunities, it is time for action. Looking back on this weekend

I was reading through the news last night and came across this; Flatulence forces emergency landing Can you imagine being questioned by the FBI about who lit the match on a plane? Come on, you’re on an airplane 40,000 feet up in the air and you are lighting a match to cover up the stench? Unbelievable

I had a unique experience Sunday night. We were on our way home from the beach when we stopped to eat at our local Mexican restaurant, Tlaquepaque. The food was fast and great as usual, and the salsa was especially good that night. That’s when it happened. I dipped my chip and scooped up a huge amount of salsa. When

Drew, my two-year old, saw a segment on a news show about the new tickle me elmo tmx. The thing is actually pretty cool, it falls over laughing and starts kicking

I’ve got hooked on The Biggest Loser on NBC this season. Last night had the twist of bringing some of the contestants that were working out at home back to the show to compete against those staying at the ranch. And one of the guys brought back was Matt from Maine, who is a youth pastor. You’ve got to root

The guys of Decemberadio had a pretty large audience on Sunday. They got to perform some of their songs and then sing the National Anthem for the Nascar race in Atlanta. That’s 180,000 people in the stands with a few million more watching on tv. It’s amazing to see how God is using these guys. They’ve got a bright future

Man, do you ever get the feeling that you are just totally out of it. I just ran across Phil Vischer’s Blog and read about how Big Idea, the company behind Veggietales went bankrupt back in 2003. I’ve been a big Veggietales fan since my first daughter was born. She absolutely loved them growing up as have my two boys.
