10,000 Fathers – A Great New Worship Album

Invitation, Vol. 1

Review: Invitation, Volume 1 by 10,000 Fathers

I’ve been listening to this album all week and it has quickly become one of my favorite worship albums. 10,000 Fathers is a small group of worship leaders organized and taught by Aaron Keyes and his team.  This school is focused on discipling worship leaders, and Invitation, Volume 1 is their first combined album featuring Aaron Keyes, David Walker, Taylor Breen, and more.

Aaron Keyes has been one of my favorite worship leaders over the last few years because of his devotion to weaving Scripture into worship. He has a way of engaging people into worship, and focusing your attention on Christ. This album flows from the students and their experiences of studying Scripture and doing life together.

I have also had the experience of worship with David Walker the last two years during the Wayfarer Youth Camp and have seen his heart for worship. I have also gotten to know Taylor Breen and her encouragement to our youth ministry at Cornerstone has been huge the past two years. I like their focus, and I believe what they are doing is important. Worship is so much more than a performance or a concert. Just listen to this album and you’ll see what I mean. These songs simply draw you into worship.

Here is the introduction to their new album

Our hope for this live recording is that this might inspire you to believe that God is everywhere, and fully present in the ordinary moments of your life. In your tears, laughter, joy and hope… He is inviting you to enter into His reality.

While we hope these songs resource and find their way into church gatherings and house churches around the world, our bigger prayer is for the “one” who hears and believes Christ is with them and for them.

May the deep places in your heart be awakened to His reality all around and within you.
