Proclaim Online – a newcomer to worship presentation

I’ve been keeping a close eye on the different worship presentation software solutions out there. Proclaim Online is getting ready to launch and it definitely looks interesting. To add to the excitement of the release of Proclaim, they are giving away $25,000 in worship resources at their site They have some good prize giveaways, and the promotional video is worth your time to watch.

This is more of a cloud based solution, where pastors, musicians, and graphic artists can collaborate and add content for services.  I’m not sure yet if it would be a good fit for our church, but I’ll be checking it out once it releases. It seems like the big three programs right now are ProPresenter, Easyworship, and Mediashout, so it will be interesting to see where Proclaim will fit in.

I am a former design engineer who now pastors Cornerstone Community Church in Galax, Virginia. I'm passionate about following Jesus and I love technology. I've been married to Jennifer for 28 years, and we have three adult children.

This does look interesting. We currently use easyworship but are increasingly looking at cross platform and collaborative approaches, of which this is the only one.

Softouch have been working on the next version of Easyworship for over two years now and the current version is starting to feel dated.

The big issue for me though is neither proclaimonline or pro presenter are able to natively handle PowerPoint or keynote presentations. Losing that integrated console would be a big step backwards in some ways.
