Cool App to Memorize Scripture

I downloaded and installed a new app today for Bible memorization. Check out the screenshots embedded above for an idea of how it works. It’s called the Verseminder Topical Memory System by NavPress. It costs $3.99, but is well worth it if you want to get serious about memorizing Scripture. The only drawback I see is that it only contains 60 verses.

What tools do you use to help memorize Scripture?

Mike, thanks for the post. I am glad people are being made aware that memorizing Scripture using an iPhone or an iPod touch is a great way to memorize the Word on the go! My wife have developed a Bible memorization app called Bible Memory. This app is a full feature app that comes with 250+ verses in 4 translations and allows you to input an unlimited number of your own verses. You can categorize them any way you want including your own category names (e.g., "Mom's favorite verses"). We offer free versions of the app to bloggers for review. Let me know if you would like to take Bible Memory for a test drive! You can also see it in action on our website:
    Thanks again!

For users of Android devices I have developed Remember Me. It uses flashcards, web synchronization and an intelligent review system to support learning Bible verses. Plus: it’s free. 😉
