3 Year Old Wisdom

On Sunday, I’m usually up and out of the house before the kids wake up. We have to start setting up early for church, and I’m usually wired up and ready to go. This week was no exception, but Emma was sick, so Jennifer had to stay home with the kids. Then after church, we had an extended elders meeting to plan for the upcoming year and review the past year. I finally got home at supper time and Jennifer shared with me what Drew had just asked. He asked “Does daddy live at another house now?” Jennifer said no, why do you ask? Drew said “Me thought he might be going to be someone else’s daddy”

Nice, I’m gone for one day and he thinks I’ve moved out. You gotta love the randomness of a 3 year old. I spent some extra time playing with him today and let him know I’m not going anywhere.

Don’t know which is worse Drew thinking you have left us or Luke telling someone “my Daddy doesn’t work anymore -he’s a preacher now”
What kind of dad are you?
    A pretty AMAZING one!
