Exciting New Opportunities

This past Sunday we started a series called FOCUS. We are talking about developing a vision for your life that honors God. We are sharing how to bringing every area of your life into clear focus, including friends, family, fitness, and faith. The devotional and sermon series is loosely based on the book Chazown by Craig Groeschel.

I’m excited about two new things that started today. First, Cornerstone started a daily 90 second radio devotional on our local Blue Ridge Country radio station. They have incredible coverage over the area. Their signal reaches down into Charlotte and Winston and all over southwest Virginia and you can even listen online from their website. We’re using the radio time to share a devotion based on the current series we’re doing at Cornerstone.

During the radio devotion, we are directing people to our church blog at www.CornerstoneConversations.org We’re using this to share even more detail about the daily devotion from the radio. I think this is an awesome opportunity to get people involved during the week. It helps us reinforce what we are teaching on Sunday morning, and it introduces us to people all over the community.
