We are driving down to Charlotte tonight for the PlanetWisdom Conference with a bunch of great teenagers from Cornerstone. Mark Matlock provides the teaching, the Skit Guys provide such much needed laughter, and the band Dutton will be there to lead us in worship. I have been to all the major youth conferences, but I keep going back to Planetwisdom. I appreciate Mark’s focus on teaching the Bible in a way that the teens can relate to and understand. My teaching style is similar to Mark’s, and that is probably because he has had a great influence on my ministry. I also like this conference because it isn’t hype. It challenges the teenagers, but it also supports the local church. We’ll try to post some pictures and I might even post my updates on twitter.
