Mixing Technology and Worship

Here is a story in the New York Times about the use of technology in worship. It’s a decent article, but it focuses a little too much on relevance. While technology can make the worship service seem more relevant to our multimedia-driven society, we can’t forget to teach and preach the relevancy of the Bible itself. Multimedia and technology help us to communicate and reinforce the truth and relevancy of the Bible. We can use technology to communicate more clearly, to help people connect with others, and to challenge people to walk closer to God, but we can’t lose our message in the process.
