Two Great New Video Resources

In the past week, I have seen two exciting resources for church video. The first is a simple Countdown Creator. It is an inexpensive program to create your own countdowns. I have never understood forking out over 20 bucks for a movie to tell you when church is starting. But for $35, you can use any existing picture or movie file and create your own. Simple, effective, and a great idea.

The second resource I have found excites me even more. I have subscribed to SPIN for years in order to get new worship music resources for youth. When I saw the new Igniter Tracks, I realized that this takes it up a notch. Not only do you get chord charts, performance tracks, and click tracks, you also get a high quality worship video timed to the music. This is awesome! I can see using this with our youth ministry and with a new young adult service we are thinking about starting. You really have to take a look at these videos. Our church is used to video backgrounds, but this really enhances the visual side of worship. And I didn’t mention that it’s incredibly inexpensive for what you get. For $84, you get two volumes and 14 songs. They also have several David Crowder Band songs, which is a definite plus. I’ve pre-ordered these and I was able to go ahead and download the first two.

These are two great resources that if used properly, can enhance worship. Check them out.
