Crash Landing

Drew went to the doctor today and we found out that he broke his arm. He was sword fighting as Captain Jack Sparrow and jumped off his train table and had a crash landing. Of course it was when I was supposed to be watching him. I remember saying, “Drew don’t jump …” and then he landed on his head with his arm caught under his body. It’s not too bad, but he will have to be in a cast for 5 weeks. He’s a tough little trooper though, he didn’t cry and it doesn’t seem like it bothers him. That’s our first broken bone for the kids, so we have been pretty lucky and blessed. Growing up I knew all the ER staff by name. I guess I was a little wild and accident prone. Check out the cute picture of Drew. He’s a tough guy already!
