What the World is Teaching

I saw this on the news today. While it doesn’t surprise me, it still shocks me. This is all the more reason that the both the family and the church need to be involved in the lives of our teens. We should be concerned about the media that are children are consuming. The music, movies, and TV starts do have influence over teens. To me this type of thinking is just the natural logical progression from the teaching of evolution. If humans are animals, then why not just do it with anyone at anytime?? It is incredibly important to teach that we are not animals, that we are made in the Image of God.

Scarlett Johansson says that while monogamy might go against instinct, she’s happy in her relationship with boyfriend and recent “Black Dahlia” co-star Josh Hartnett. ; But Johansson, whose films include “Lost in Translation” and “Match Point,” still acknowledges monogamy might not be natural. “I do think on some basic level we are animals, and by instinct we kind of breed accordingly,” she says. “But as much as I believe that, I work really hard when I’m in a relationship to make it work in a monogamous way.”
