Relaxed and Enjoying the Family

We’re kicked back at the beach enjoying life this week. Check out the pics from the balcony of our room where we’re staying. We’re in a corner room that has an incredible view both directions. And when I fired up the laptop, we even have free wi-fi, life is good! Went to a good church service this morning at Pawleys Island Community Church. It’s a church that shows me what Cornerstone could be. They are a Southern Baptist Church that is elder run and has co-pastors. They seem like they are a good fit for the community they are in. Their praise band played a jazz style that would appeal to young and old alike. Not real edgy, but good. Luke and Emma had a good time in their KidZone program as well. The message was on making the most of your time at work and using it as a time of worship and ministry. I was busy during the service checking out all the tech stuff in the church, the projectors, lights, computers, and sound system. Good stuff.
I am spending some time studying the pastoral epistles of 1 and 2 Timothy and Titus this week. I’m using the beauty and solitude of the beach to reflect about a lot of things. First and foremost, I’m going to enjoy the time with my family.
